“We will never forget”
U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent (PA-15) today issued the following statement commemorating the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks: “This September 11 marks seven years since the terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of more than 3,000 people on American soil. The growing distance of time does not dampen the grief and outrage we felt as a nation that day. We will never forget.

Priming the Pump for a Real Energy Policy

High gas prices are affecting every aspect of our daily lives. Seeing more of their hard-earned money flowing into their gas tanks each day, many Americans are turning to Congress for help. The simple truth is very little can be done quickly to provide immediate relief. Lessening our dependence on oil from unstable areas of the world through the implementation of realistic and sensible policies is the key. In the short-term, this will help the United States stabilize its energy costs. In the long-term, these policies will encourage our nation to transition to an alternative and renewable energy based economy.
