September 12, 2008 - At a bipartisan energy summit this week, Nevada Senator Harry Reid spoke about the importance of passing legislation that would lower energy prices and create tens of thousands of good-paying jobs in Nevada. During his opening remarks, Reid said, “With energy legislation moving to the floor of the Senate as early as next week, this is a rare opportunity to put our ideas directly into action. But the legislation of this work period is just one of many steps.”
