Today, Americans are marking the 7th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11th. In memorials across the country, we are honoring the lives of those who were lost that tragic day, and expressing our gratitude to those who are working to keep our communities and our country safe. WASHINGTON - As Hoosier seniors struggle to cover the rising cost of gas, groceries, health care, and other necessities, Rep. Brad Ellsworth today introduced legislation to help America's most vulnerable seniors access affordable, necessary prescription drugs. The Medicare Prescription Drug Cost Equalization Act restores fairness to the Medicare Prescription Drug Program, known as Part D, by reducing the amount of money many seniors have to pay out-of-pocket for costly, but medically necessary prescription drugs with no lower-cost alternatives.
