Ormond Beach Municipal Airport
Air travel is just one of the many businesses at Ormond Beach’s airport and surrounding park, making it a center of economic development for the city. The 1,164-acre facility includes two active runways and six taxiways, all of which are lighted. About 140 aircraft are based at the airport, and private operators handle aviation management and other support services. The airport includes two non-precision instrument approaches and an FAA Vortac facility.

The 176-acre Airport Business Park consists of 73 lots, 57 of which have been sold. A total of 1,900 workers are employed by the 29 businesses that occupy 731,900 square feet of light industrial space. Federal grant money is helping upgrade the airport, including fixing taxiway lighting and other equipment.
