Dear Ms.Velez,

First on behalf of the Indian delegation (Mr. Kumar, Mr. Praphakaran, Ms. Sujatha, Mr. Senthil and Ms. Meerabai) and myself, I would like to express my sincere thanks for the opportunity to meet with all of you at FHWA and the time afforded to us during our recent visit to your offices - where we were able to provide an exposure to the visiting team on various aspects of Highway Development and Construction. We truly appreciate the fact that all of you took time from your demanding schedule to share with us the current practices and technologies under development and also the time you afforded us to exchange views and ideas. We also note the fact that some of the experts had to travel quite a bit to attend the meetings and we have no words to record our thanks for the consideration given to us.

We enjoyed both the meetings and the discussions, which were both informative and lively, and thank you for the guidance you provided for the visit to CHART centre, which was again a unique experience for the visiting team. I am sure all the participants of the delegation were highly impressed as they continued discussions about the knowledge shared and the various similarities and applicability that they could consider for their State in India. I do believe it was a very rewarding and knowledge sharing experience for them - which they will remember for long time to come and may generate more interaction in the future for adopting the new technologies.

Finally, it has given us at SHELADIA, a sense of happiness as we could provide the visiting team a very informative technology transfer session with the help of FHWA's Office of International Program. Thank you all very much.
