Rising Ground-Water Levels - June 24-29, 2006

Ground-water levels rose in observation wells throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania as a result of recharge from precipitation during June 24-29.
The greatest water-level rise (about 40 feet) was recorded in observation well CB-104 in Carbon County.
Water levels in other observation wells in east-central Pennsylvania generally rose 2-25 feet.
