The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for highly skilled personnel to support the Navy space programs development, enhancement, testing and configuration management of a collection of software used for design, development, test, launch, and mission operations of DoD assets. This software is constantly being enhanced to provide state of the art solutions to space applications. The core suite of software components are used in all aspects of the spacecraft or component life-cycle. This is a new requirement.

The development and maintenance of this software is currently being done by a number of different subcontractors under two prime contracts held by Orbital Sciences Corp, Greenbelt, MD and Praxis, Inc., Alexandria, VA. The purpose of this effort is to consolidate all support under one contract.
