On Tuesday August 12, 2008 from 20:24 to 20:26 Storage Ring Horizontal and Vertical RMS Motion and Emittance spiked. At this time there is no known reason for the spike. It was not due to the CPU nor due to movement of ID gaps. Sun, 10 Aug 2008 05:24:26 Shutter Permit enabled

At 22:29 Diagnostics personnel are continuing to investigate the root cause of the failures. This will require accessing the SR Tunnel, and everything is in place for that happen. We are continuing to investigate a communications issue with a SR vacuum and PS equipment IOC. So far, this IOC has been rebooted and power-cycled to faciliate the investigation and repair. Shortly, a card in the IOC will be replaced which will require another power-cycle. Announcements will continue to be made when TopUp and Orbit Correction are aborted and restarted. On 07 AUG 08 at 08:48 communications were lost with IOCS25FB. Top-up was aborted and the SR orbit controllaws were aborted at 20:52 to facilitate the reboot of the IOC. At 21:00 the controllaws were restarted and top-up was restarted. Thu, 7 Aug 2008 07:21:18 Top-Up aborted

Top-up has been aborted at 14:56 due to an Injector IOC problem. The Controls Group is currently investigating the problem.
