Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site
 

RFETS (also known as Rocky Flats Closure Project) is an environmental cleanup site designated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Superfund cleanup site. Until 1989, the Rocky Flats Plant made components for nuclear weapons. The Plant is located 15 miles northwest of downtown Denver.
