Brisingr Release Party

The Chattanooga Hamilton County Bicentennial Library is proud to promote Brisingr, the third book in Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle.  The library will have a release party at the downtown library on September 20, 2008 at 2:30 p.m.  We will celebrate the release of the book with food, drinks, trivia, perhaps a movie, and prizes. 

Some of you who may not be familiar with the book would be interested to learn that Christopher Paolini started writing this epic fantasy when he was only 15 years old.  Since it's release date in 2002, Eragon, the first book in the series has been devoured worldwide.  Some of you may have seen the movie, released in December of 2006.  Eragon tells about what happens when an ordinary farm boy finds out that he's not ordinary at all.  After finding a pretty stone in the forest, Eragon soon learns what he has is no normal stone.  It hatches, and out comes a tiny blue dragon.  Soon Eragon's whole world is turned upside down as he learns what this small creature means, what she is capable of, and what he must do.  Paolini's second book in the series, Eldest, was released in 2005, and ends with a cliffhanger. Fans eagerly await the continuing story of Saphira the dragon and her rider Eragon.
