On September 19, 2006, the Judicial Conference of the United States approved Revised Official Forms in compliance with the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005. Amendments include Interim Rule 1007 and implementing new statistical requirements. Revisions include: Form 1, Form 5, Form 6, Form 9, Form 22A, Form 22C, and Form 23 and Ex D to Official Form 1.

Notice of Filing Fee changes, effective April 9, 2006, as a result of the enactment of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 signed into law on February 8, 2006.
- Chapter 7 filing fee will increase from $274 to $299
- Chapter 13 filing fee will increase from $189 to $274
- Chapter 11 Conversion decrease
- Conversion from Ch 7 decreases from $780 to $755
- Conversion from Ch 13 decreases from $850 to $765
