The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wants you to have a pleasant recreational experience. Many people drown on the nation's waterways each year and, in most cases, victims were not wearing a life jacket, the one tool that could have helped them survive when they entered the water. Please ensure that your loved ones are wearing the right size life jacket when they are boating or playing on or near the water. The Chief of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needs your help as we try to reduce the number of public fatalities on our nation's waterways. Only YOU can help us do that! |
KENDALL (KY), WOLF CREEK DAM, KYDescription:Kendall Campground is located on the scenic 98,000 acre project of Lake Cumberland, which stretches 101 miles down the Cumberland River. Settled below Wolf Creek Dam in a pine plantation and 12 miles south of Jamestown, KY on Hwy 127, Kendall campground offers guests and visitors convenient access to a cold water trout stream, lake and river boat launches, trails, and wildlife viewing. Offering 108 reservable campsites with water and electric hook ups, additional amenities include shower houses, dump stations, a picnic shelter, laundry facilities, and public telephones. Alerts and Important InformationIf a camper is not going to get to the campground the day of arrival they need to call the campground and let the park attendants know. Failure to do so will result in a NO SHOW and the campsite will be re-booked. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum holiday weekend stay.The campground is open year round and sites are $14-$24/night. A picnic shelter is available for $50/day.
