Coral Reef and Other References and Lists

Coral Related Literature
This is a slightly edited version of all of the coral related literature from one researchers database. It contains 950-1000 references. You should check any references before assuming they are correct.

Coral & carbonate references
About 3000 coral and carbonate references are posted on this site.

CHAMP abstracts home page
Contains additional reference lists.

CHAMP home page literature search
This site contains an extensive list of literature references pertaining to coral health and monitoring from 1980 through most of 1998. At this time literature citations only are posted, but abstracts will be posted in the near future. Click on "Literature" then on "New CHAMP Literature Server" to search the database (the search may run a little slow).

Coral Reef Researcher's directory
After finding a reference that is not available at a local library, look up the author's address in the reef researcher's directory on the CHAMP web site, and send an e-mail or postcard requesting a reprint.

Keys' Marine Ecosystem Database
This searchable database of biological references may be used by: First choosing a data base to search, do a quick search using authors or key words or an advanced search, print results in bibliographic format, or click icon to the left of each citation for the full details of the record, including an abstract.

The MARINE BIOLOGY web page
This web page contains over 27 reference lists contributed by many colleagues. These lists get the browser to classic and current literature so that student searches will not just recover more derived and secondary papers.
