Communities Empowering Youth

The Communities Empowering Youth (CEY) program builds the capacity of faith-based and community organizations to address issues of gang involvement, youth violence, and child abuse and neglect. The CEY program strengthens broad-based community collaborations to address these issues and provide opportunities for positive youth development. Funded CEY projects consist of a lead organization and partnering faith-based and community organizations with a history of collaboration. Together, they serve youth within a specific community by building organizational capacity. In 2007, CCF funded 31 Communities Empowering Youth Program grantees nationwide. Below is a list of current grantees.

For more information on the elements of the Communities Empowering Youth program, visit About the Compassion Capital Fund. Click here for an interactive map of 2006 and 2007 CEY grantees. Below is a list of current grantees, along with their project summaries.
