Transcytosis of Adeno-Associated Viruses

The invention relates to a method for delivering nucleic acids to a variety of cells including those of the gut, kidney, lung and central nervous system. The underlying cells of such organs are covered by a barrier of endothelial or epithelial cells which can limit the transfer of nucleic acids, or other potentially therapeutic agents, to the underlying target cells. Kimberly Bennett Selected as Royalties Coordinator

OTT is pleased to announce that Kimberly Bennett has joined the office as a Royalties Coordinator in the Royalties Administration Unit. This unit administers executed license agreements to ensure the collection of royalties and patent prosecution expense reimbursement.

Kimberly comes to OTT with extensive analytical and auditing experience. She was employed as a Senior Accountant at King, King & Associates for over three years, where she managed audits for nonprofit, governmental, banking, and private industry. Prior to that position, she was an Accountant at Catapult Learning.

Kimberly received a Masters Degree in Global Business (Walden University) and a BS in Business Management (Coppin State University).
