The act of terror resulted in the death of 270 people, 178 of whom were American, including 35 Syracuse University students returning from a semester abroad in London. “With Libya once again in the news for horrific crimes against Americans, it is a time to remember those who have suffered at the hands of Qaddafi and his regime of terror and oppression. Nearly 24 years ago, America sustained one of the worst terrorist attacks the world has ever seen in the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.
