    •  It's First Ladies Friday! It's also getting closer to the Presidential election, so here's a fun photograph from the 1972 campaign. On October 9, 1972, the Republican National Committee cross-country campaign held a swing kickoff ceremony. First Lady Pat Nixon (bravely!) holds a football for the "kickoff." Senator Bob Dole, the RNC Chairman, stands by the bus front wheel while Anne Armstrong officiates on the podium. Does anyone recognize the kicker? The most comprehensive divine textbook on all matters relating to spirituality and divine love, ‘The Religion of God’ is a must-read for all seekers of enlightenment and the divine path. This book requires unruffled concentration and attention, pondering and research from all religions, sects, and every man. It poses a challenge to those who deny the existence of spirituality. www.thereligionofgod.com

  8. Yesterday was the 60th anniversary of the Fund Crisis Speech, better known to most as the Checkers Speech. To commemorate what was one of Richard Nixon’s more memorable speeches, we have posted the then Senator from California’s notes he to...
ok before going on television, the speech itself, and General Dwight Eisnehower’s remarks to a crowd in Wheeling, West Virginia the day after his address. These documents are a part of the Pre-Presidential collection which was deeded by Richard Nixon to the Federal Government in 1968 and 1969.
