and saves those in peril. With missions that include ports, waterways and coastal security; counter drug; and
illegal migrant interdiction, the U.S. Coast Guard uses non-lethal weapons to:
- Augment lethal weapons
- Warn/Stop vessels at safe “stand-off” distances
- Determine intent of groups or individuals
