to defend the United States and its interests. It synchronizes planning of global operations against terrorist networks. The U.S. Special Operations Command uses non-lethal weapons to:

  • Extend duration of incapacitation at "stand-off" distances
  • Stop vehicles and vessels
  • Deny access – isolate an objective
  • Clear buildings/structures with standoff capability
