Eligible Renewable/Other Technologies: Geothermal Heat Pumps

Amount:Refrigerator: $125
Freezer: $75
Dishwasher: $35
Clothes Washer: $35
Small Appliances (TVs, VCRs, computer monitors, etc.): $20
Removal of Non-essential Refrigerator or Deep Freezer: $50
CFL Light: $2/per bulb Marathon Water Heater: $150
Geothermal Heat Pumps: Interest free loop lease plus a 85 gallon lifetime warranted Marathon water heater or a $500 rebate
Maximum Incentive:Limit of one rebate per product type, per year. The maximum number of CFL's available with rebate is 15.
Equipment Requirements:CFLs and Tv's: Must be Energy Star qualified

Summary:

Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) offers several financial incentives for residential customers to improve the efficiency of their homes by upgrading to energy saving appliances and equipment.  In order to receive these rebates, members must present a copy of the receipt of purchase and proof that the product is Energy Star. If the unit is a replacement, members must also provide a receipt (signed by the transfer station employee, with the unit serial number listed) for the disposal of the old unit. PSREC members should also make sure to consult the program's website for special member pricing on a variety of energy saving products including: CFL lighting, low-flow showerheads, and water heater blankets.
