Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Clothes Washers, Dishwasher, Refrigerators, Water Heaters, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners, Motors, Electric Thermal Storage
Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Residential
Amount:Water Heater (Fossil Fuel to Electric): $200, plus $25 lifetime warranty bonus
Water Heater (Electric to Electric): $1 per gallon, plus $50 six year warranty bonus
Refrigerators/Freezers: $50
Clothes Washers: $50
Dishwashers: $40
Motors: $10 per HP
Motors (Wiring Assistance): $1.50 per HP
Radiant Heater: $4.00 per KW Air-Source Heat Pump: $150 - $175/ton; bonus of $150 for Energy Star rating
Water-Source Heat Pump: $200/ton; bonus of $150 for Energy Star rating
Ground-Source Heat Pump (Closed-Loop): $200/ton; bonus of $150 for Energy Star rating
Split System Air Conditioners (Energy Star Rated): $150 per unit
Electric Thermal Storage: $20 per kW
Equipment Requirements:Appliances: Must be Energy Star rated
Water Heaters: 30 - 100 Gallons; EF .84 minimum
Motors: At least 10 HP; operating minimum of 15% load or 5 months per year
Air-Source Heat Pump (Split Systems): 8.2 HSPF, 14.5 SEER and 12 EER
Air-Source Heat Pump (Single Package): 8.0 HSPF, 14 SEER and 11 EER
Water-Source Heat Pump: 3.6 COP and 16.2 EER
Ground-Source Heat Pump: 3.3 COP and 14.1 EER
Split System Air Conditioners: 14.5 SEER and 12 EER
Electric Thermal Storage: Contact SECPA
Radiant Heater: 1200 watts

Summary:

Southeast Colorado Power Association (SECPA) offers a variety of rebates to customers who purchase and install energy efficient appliances, motors and HVAC equipment. This equipment includes water heaters, air-source, water-source and geothermal heat pumps, air conditioners, motors, ETS units, dishwashers, clothes washers, refrigerators and freezers, and radiant heaters. Commercial and residential customers are eligible for these rebates. All efficiency requirements and program procedures must be met in order to be eligible for rebate payment. Some rebates on pieces of equipment vary by size, capacity, or efficiency.
