Amount:50% of the cost up to $500
Maximum Incentive:$500
Equipment Requirements:Must have operational mechanical cooling or primary electric heating to qualify for building envelope improvements
Installation Requirements:Must have the work completed by a participating contractor
Must be in a single-family detached home or attached townhouse (up to four-plex)

Summary:

Loveland Water & Power (LWP) is providing an incentive for customers living in single-family detached homes or attached townhouses that wish to upgrade the energy efficiency of eligible homes. Customers can schedule a $70 energy audit through LWP, to identify a variety of inefficient household features and measures. Based on audit findings and recommendations, LWP will contact three contractors on behalf of the customer and begin a bid process. Customers will select a contractor and choose from a range of potential upgrade measures which match the budget and savings goals of customers. LWP will cover 50% of the project cost up to $500. Upgrades are available on a range of measures including:

  • Air Sealing
  • Conditioned Crawl Space Insulation
  • Cold Crawl Space
  • Basement Wall Insulation
  • Cantilever Floor Insulation
  • Frame Floor Insulation Over Garage
  • Exterior Frame Wall Insulation
  • Insulating Masonry Exterior Walls
  • Attic Insulation/Flat Ceiling
  • Cathedral Ceiling Insulation
  • Window Replacement
  • Window Film
  • Duct Sealing and Insulating
  • AH Blower Motor Replacement
  • New Installation AC
  • Early Replacement AC
  • Heat Pumps; Existing HP, or Electric Furnace
  • Whole House Fan
  • Evaporative Cooler
  • Mechanical Ventilation
