Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Lighting, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners, Heat Pump Water Heater
Eligible Renewable/Other Technologies: Geothermal Heat Pumps
Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Residential
Amount:Air-source Heat Pumps: $300 - $1,000
Geothermal Heat Pump: $1,000
Central Air Conditioning: $200 - $300
Heat Pump Water Heater: $400
Dual Fuel Heat Pump: $300 - $400
Water Heaters: $50 - $150
Eligible System Size:Water Heaters: must be at least 40 gallons
Equipment Requirements:Air-Source Heat Pumps: 14 SEER or higher
Dual Fuel Heat Pumps: 14 SEER or higher
Central Air Conditioning: 14 SEER or higher
Water Heaters: Must have an energy factor of .90 or greater

Summary:
RushShelby Energy provides customers with incentives to help offset the cost of installing energy efficient equipment in participating homes and facilities. Rebates are available for energy efficient central air conditioners, air-source heat pumps, dual fuel heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, and water heaters. Rebates vary depending on the size and efficiency of the equipment and the type of system that it is replacing. RushShelby Energy will also trade out and collect incandescent bulbs and replace them with 60 and 100 watt equivalent CFLs, free of charge. Interested customers should consult the utility’s website or call the RushShelby office for more information.
