Summary:
Jay County Rural Electric Membership Cooperative (REMC) is a member-owned electric distribution organization serving customers in central Indiana. Jay County REMC offers rebates to its customers for the purchase and installation of heat pumps. Customers can receive a $200 bill credit for a dual fuel add-on heat pump or an air-source heat pump, and a $250 bill credit for a geothermal heat pump. A $150 water heater bill credit rebate is also available to customers who purchase an eligible model. In order to receive the credit, customers should contact Jay County REMC about the credit before installation of the heat pump, and the bill credit will be issued following installation.
