Split System Air-Source Heat Pump: 15 SEER, 8.5 HSPF minimum
Closed Loop Geothermal Heat Pump: 14.1 EER, 3.3 COP minimum
Open Loop Geothermal Heat Pump: 16.2 EER, 3.6 COP minimum
Packaged Dual Fuel Heat Pump: 14 SEER, 12 EER, 8.0 HSPF, 90 AFUE, Natural Gas or Propane backup
Split System Dual Fuel Heat Pump: 15 SEER, 12.5 EER, 8.5 HSPF, 90 AFUE, Natural Gas or Propane backup

Summary:

Miami-Cass Rural Electric Membership Cooperative (MCREMC) is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative serving customers in central Indiana.  MCREMC offers energy efficiency rebates to its residential in conjuction with the Wabash Valley Power Association (the wholesale power provider of MCREMC). Incentives exist for customers who install heat pump water heaters and air-source, geothermal, or dual fuel heat pumps, to either replace their existing (non-heat pump) HVAC system, to upgrade their existing heat pump system, or as a part of a new construction project. Incentives vary according to whether the equipment is a replacement, an upgrade, or new construction.  Visit the program website or contact MCREMC for more information on program guidelines and requirements.
