Amount:CFLs: In store discounts (single family); direct install (multi-family)
A/C Cycling: $20/summer
Split System AC: $300 - $400
Air Source Heat Pump: $200 - $300
Home Energy Evaluation and Energy Efficiency Kit: Free
Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling: $30/unit
Equipment Requirements:Split System AC: 14.5 SEER (without ECM); 15.5 SEER (with ECM)
Air Source Heat Pump: SEER 15, HSPF 8.2, EER 12.5

Summary:

The Indianapolis Power and Light Energy Incentives Programs assist residential customers with reducing energy consumption. The program offers incentives for energy efficiency technologies such as CFLs, efficient appliances, air conditioning systems, air source heat pumps and water saving devices. Free home energy inspections and efficiency technology kits are also available. Multifamily building owners are also eligible for direct installation of faucet aerators, showerheads and CFL bulbs in each apartment or unit.
