Summary:

The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU), in conjunction with American Municipal Power's "Efficiency Smart" program, offers incentives that encourage residential customers to install energy efficient appliances and energy saving measures.  Rebates are available for Energy Star clothes washers, refrigerators, and also for the proper recycling of old refrigerator and freezer units.  Residential customers are also eligible for Efficiency Smart coupons for discounts on CFL bulbs and lamps which can be redeemed at participating stores.  A discounted home energy check-up is also available to Coldwater's residential customers.  For more information on rebates and to review a list of eligible clothes washers and refrigerators, visit the program web site.
