Amount:Energy Star for Homes Version 2.5: $750/home
Equipment Requirements:For HERS based incentives: Permit must have been issued after January 1, 2012 and home completed by Dec. 31, 2012.
Installation Requirements:Specific terms and conditions apply in Santa Fe and Albuquerque

Summary:

PNM is offering home builders a rebate for each Energy Star-qualified home they build in PNM service areas. Every Energy Star-qualified home must include effective insulation and air sealing, high performance windows, doors and skylights, tight construction and ducts, and independent testing and inspection. The builder must arrange for a qualified Home Energy Rater to inspect the new home. To qualify for the incentive, the builder must register as a participating home builder with the Energy Star homebuilder program administered by the EPA and follow the steps on the Energy Star Homes Program Web site to apply for a rebate.
