Maximum Incentive:Windows: $1,000
Equipment Requirements:Windows: must be .30 or lower to qualify
Water Heaters: EF .85 or greater
Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling: 10 - 30 cubic feet
Air Source Heat Pumps: SEER 14, HSPF 9
Installation Requirements:Heat Pumps: Must be installed by certified contractor

Summary:

Peninsula Light Company offers a rebate program for residential customers who want to install energy efficient products in homes. Rebates are provided for window replacements, water heaters, heat pumps, duct sealing, appliance recycling, and ductless heat pumps.  In store discounts  on energy efficient products are available through the Simple Steps Smart Savings program, see the program website for a list of participating retailers.  Heat Pumps must be installed by a certified contractor to qualify for a rebate. Pre-existing windows must be single pane, single pane with storm, or double pane with metal frame. To qualify for duct rebate a home must be electrically heated.
