Summary:
Rocky Mountain Power offers the Home Energy Savings Program for their residential Wyoming customers to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. Incentives are available for energy efficient clothes washers, refrigerators and freezers, dishwashers, water heaters, lighting, HVAC equipment, duct sealing, insulation and window upgrades, and electronic equipment. Certain incentives provide rebates for both the homeowner and the installing contractor or building. Retrofit and new construction projects are both eligible for rebates through this program, however, the incentive amount and requirements for certain equipment may differ. Appliances and windows must be Energy Star certified, and all other equipment must meet certain energy efficient standards listed on the program website. Incentive applications must be submitted, accompanied by an itemized invoice, within 90 days of equipment purchase or installation. Interested customers should review the program website for eligibility guidelines, participating retailers, and program applications.
