Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Furnaces , Boilers, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, Clothes Dryer, Tankless Water Heaters
Applicable Sectors: Residential, Construction
Amount:Energy Star Home Certification: $500
Storage Water Heater: $50
Tankless Water Heater: $300
Furnace: $300
Boiler: $400
Equipment Requirements:Equipment must meet the program's stated efficiency levels to be eligible for the rebate
Energy Star Home Certification: HERS Index of 85 or lower Gas Storage Water Heater: Must be Energy Star, EF 0.62 or higher (minimum 40 gallons, 75,000 Btu/hr or less)
Tankless Gas Water Heater: Must be Energy Star, EF 0.82 or higher
Gas Furnace: AFUE 90% or higher
Gas Boilers: AFUE 85% or higher
Installation Requirements:Equipment must be installed by a program approved contractor

Summary:

Questar Gas provides incentives for home builders to construct energy efficient homes. Rebates are provided for both energy efficient gas equipment and whole home Energy Star certification. All equipment and construction requirements must be met in order to participate. Program applications, a builder participation agreement form, and more details about incentive amounts and efficiency requirements are located on the program web site.
