Instructions for requesting duplication
- No cash will be accepted.
- The minimum charge on any order is $5.00
- Fees must be paid at the time the order is placed. Copies will not be mailed until payment is received.
- Checks, money orders, or international money orders should be made payable to the Department of the Navy.

Duplication of paper records
Requests for copies of records which exist only in paper form may be fulfilled by photocopying, scanning to CD-ROM, or microfiching, at the discretion of the Branch holding the records. Cost estimates are available upon request.
Requests for copies of a unit's Command History will be microfiched or scanned in five year blocks. For example, a customer, wanting copies of the history for USS Saratoga (CV-60) covering 1967, 1968, and 1969, will be required to purchase the entire block of Saratoga's history for the period 1966 to 1970 (a five year block). Histories of aviation units held by the Aviation History Branch may be made available on CD-ROM.

Navy Department Library: For Administrative Histories, $10.00 per packet of fiche
Operational Archives, Ship's History, and Aviation History Branch: $1.20 for each microfiche
Duplication of existing CD-ROMs
Aviation History Branch: $10.00 per CD-ROM
Operational Archives Branch: $10.00 per CD-ROM
Duplication of existing microfilm
Domestic orders: $20.00 per roll
International orders: $25.00 per roll
