CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE AND PROTECTIVE DIRECTORATE

• About the Directorate:

  CIPD´s mission is to conduct world class executive protection services in support of the Secretary of Defense and any other designated high risk persons (HRP´s). CIPD conducts world class investigations pertaining to criminal acts perpetrated against the employees, visitors and facilities assigned to the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).

  Key Functions:

  • Criminal Investigations as well as crime repression and prevention
  • Protective Service Unit
  • Interview of suspects, witnesses, and victims of crimes
  • Arrest of suspects of crimes
  • Maintain evidence and testify in court
