  • The Vacancy Announcement for the Clerk of the Court is now posted under Jobs/Career Opportunities on the Court's website.
  • 2012 Chief Justice's Year-End Report on the Federal Judiciary (PDF)
  • The briefs in the Defense of Marriage Act  and California’s Proposition 8 cases are now posted on the Docket page of the Court’s Web site.
  • Beginning with October Term 2012, the regularly scheduled Order Lists of the Supreme Court of the United States will be released by the Court at 9:30 a.m. rather than at 10 a.m. as had been the previous practice.
  • The Supreme Court will launch new Website capabilities on June 1, 2012 to improve the mobile device user experience. The Court’s Website has always supported a variety of web browsers, but it will now detect the mobile device being used and will automatically adjust the display based on the screen size and orientation. This Website enhancement will make the Court’s site easier to read on a mobile device and improve user navigation on the site.
  • Amendments to Federal Rules of Bankruptcy and Criminal prescribed by the Court and reported to Congress by the Chief Justice on April 23, 2012

  • The briefs and orders in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act cases are now posted on the Docket page of the Court’s Web site.
  • The 2010 Term statistics are now posted with the Supreme Court’s 2010 Journal.  The Court’s Website contains the Supreme Court Journal from the 1993 Term to the present.  Statistics appear at the beginning of each Journal on page II.

  • Courtroom Lecture Calendar now available
    Visitors to the Supreme Court can now view the Courtroom Lecture schedule online. Schedules are posted for the current day and the next 30 days. To learn more click here.
  • A new exhibit titled Court and Country in Transition: The Edward D. White Court has been installed on the ground floor of the building. The exhibit explores issues before the Court and the Nation from 1910-1921, a decade of change across America. To learn more about this exhibit and others, click here.
