You can now request all Gulf of Mexico METARs via www.aviationweather.gov/adds/metars by using "@GULF" similar to the @State feature (ie. "@KS").
Effective March 1, 2013 the Collaborated Convective Forecast Product (CCFP) valid times will change. Currently CCFP is valid 2 hours, 4 hours, and 6 hours from issuance time. The new valid times will be 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours from valid time. Details of this change can be found in NWS Technical Implementation Notice 12-46 (http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/notification/tin12-46ccfp.htm)
