The Montford Marines were the first African Americans to enter the Corps from 1942 to 1949 at Montford Pt. Camp in New River, North Carolina. Among the honored veterans include Virgin Islands resident Jon Steward.

Delegate Donna ChristensenCongresswoman Donna M. Christensen proudly serves in the 113th Congress, representing the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands.  In her capacity as Delegate to Congress Rep.
