Earmarks in 2005 Authorization Bills

On this page you can access information on earmarks for which there were expenditures in 2005 from the selected authorization bills. While most earmarks are in appropriations bills and reports, Congress also earmarks funds in authorization bills.

The earmarks listed in authorization bills are not duplicative of the 2005 appropriations data. If an earmark is included in both the appropriations bill and the authorization bill, then it is listed in the appropriations section of the website. Therefore, the number of authorization bill earmarks is limited.
