Anti-Terrorism Force Protection

DoD Personnel:

DoD personnel can access the Navy's collaborative Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) portal at: https://www.portal.navy.mil/hq/n3n5an7/n3ata/default.aspx. Please note that you must have a CAC card and you must be using the Internet Explorer web browser to connect properly.

To report suspicious activity, you can text the word "NCIS", followed by all relevant information to 274637 (CRIMES). To send a text tip to NCIS follow these steps:

  • Text to 274637 (CRIMES)
  • Type "NCIS" at the beginning of your text message.
  • Type your message including as much detail as possible to ensure the tips can effectively be investigated.
  • You will receive a text with an alias code; this will be your tipster identity code.

More information, and methods for contacting NCIS anonymously are available from their tips page.

Civilians:

Civilians can report suspicious activity to the FBI on their tips page: https://tips.fbi.gov/. If someone is in imminent danger, the FBI recommends that you call 9-1-1 or your local police immediately. A guide on when to contact the FBI is available through their website as well.
