The Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center is a part of NAFRI.
Our vision is to actively promote a learning culture to enhance and sustain safe and effective work practices in the entire U.S. wildland fire community.
The Center provides opportunities and resources to foster collaboration among all fire professionals. We facilitate their networks, provide access to state-of-the-art learning tools, and bridge the gap between learning and training.

Video Tele-Conferencing (VTC)
We have upgraded our Video Tele-Conferencing (VTC) capability with the addition of a second VTC system. The new system has been integrated into our Audio Visual control system for the "Sonoran" auditorium. We have also replaced the two 8X cameras we previously had with 16X HD cameras plus added a third 16X HD camera and a 52” LCD Monitor. These changes gave us the ability to select which of the three cameras video image we will broadcast to other VTC site(s). Plus, here at NAFRI, simultaneously being able to view video from the others site(s) while being able to project a visual on the large auditorium screen that is also being broadcast to the other VTC site(s).
