Attn: Foreign Pharmacy Graduates Who Have NOT taken/passed the TOEFL iBT for your FPGEC certification

NABP has increased the listening and reading requirements from 18 & 21, to 21 & 22.

This will go into effect on March 01, 2014 for NEW candidates.

It will go into effect on June 01, 2014 for CURRENT candidates.

At this time, no changes will be made to the writing and speaking sections of the exam.

Diabetes Care Certificate Training Program

Pharmacist and Patient-Centered Diabetes Care Certificate Training Program is an innovative and intensive certificate program that focuses on the pharmacist's role in the area of diabetes management. The program, which emphasizes a health care team approach, seeks to foster the implementation of pharmaceutical care interventions that will promote disease self-management.

Diabetes Management Survey

Currently there are 17,000 Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) in the United States with only 8% of those being pharmacists. By 2020 it is estimated that 53,000 CDEs will be needed to address the diabetes epidemic. NABP Exam Fee Increases

Effective 01/01/2014, NABP will be increasing their exam fees:

The Naplex exam will increase $20.00 from $485.00 to $505.00.
The MPJE exam will increase $10.00 from $200.00 to $210.00.



Fraud Alert = FaxNet Service Replacement

As the FaxNet service no longer exists, we have re-branded and replaced it as our own new e-Bulletin called a Fraud Alert.

We still collect all of the same information in an easy-to-use online form, and allow anyone who wishes to receive these notices to simply subscribe to them with their email address. When we get a Fraud Alert, we will pass it along as soon as we can. Links to the new Fraud Alert form can be found on our "Forms" page, as well as the "Contact" page, as before.
