Welcome to our new website of the Biomedical Science and Engineering Center (BSEC) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This website provides you with the latest information regarding the BSEC mission, people, resources, research portfolio, scientific outcomes, and activities.
We are a growing center committed to promote interdisciplinary research and effectively engage the scientific community inside and outside of ORNL to address contemporary biomedical challenges. With our broad core expertise and state-of-the-art research facilities, we undertake complex biomedical projects that range from basic knowledge discovery to technology development to licensing of new technology. Our goal is to offer innovative solutions to challenging problems and facilitate their clinical translation. Fostering collaborations and building partnerships with academia, industry, and federal agencies are central to our mission.
