Luminosity Density


The luminosity density is the peak luminosity divided by (protons per bunch/ 250e9). It is an attempt to scale out the proton contribution to luminosity. The model curve assumes 90% extraction, 76% efficiency to low Beta, and 12 pi pbar beams. The luminosity potential models that used to appear here are no longer valid with the move to Recycler only shots.
