What is CHECRA?
CHECRA was created by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado under enactment of Colorado House Bill 07-182, codified at Section 23-19.7-101 through 23-19.7-104, C.R.S. CHECRA is a body corporate and a political subdivision of the state, but is not an agency of Colorado state government and is not subject to administrative direction by any department, commission, board, bureau, or agency of the State of Colorado.
