Chartered in 1996, our squadron acts as a part of the Civil Air Patrol, a non-profit corporation that acts as an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. The Civil Air Patrol, focusing on cadet programs, aviation, and emergency services, provides volunteer service to the local community and builds leadership skills and character in cadets.

The Northwest Hills Composite squadron is located at 153 South Main Street in Torrington, Connecticut. On the left side of the armory, a set of stairs with our sign will lead you down to our squadron's base of operations.
You can sign up by receiving a form from the Squadron. Please meet us there to see if the Civil Air Patrol is right for you! We meet every Thursday night from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

To serve is to satisfy the needs or requirements of an organization and, in the case of the CAP; it is to render service to one's nation.
