    TRANSFER FROM OTHER CENTER

As a NASA employee transferring from another center, your employment status remains virtually unchanged unless you have accepted a change in your appointment type (eg. permanent, term, temporary, excepted). Generally, your orientation involves relocation, familiarization with your new position, organization, center, and local area. You are required to inprocess at your new center on your first duty day.

You will be required to accomplish a variety of activities in order to complete your employee orientation. These activities are listed in your personal orientation checklist that you will construct online using My Checklist Builder.
