The meeting was held at 1:00 PM (CST) at the Alabama Criminal Justice Information
Center on April 24, 2012. The meeting was well attended with great discussion and

Alabama Aerial Imagery and LiDAR Status Viewer
This viewer gives the user the ability to check the status of current aerial imagery and LiDAR, as well as future acquisitions, simultaneously. The purpose of this viewer is to promote information sharing and to encourage the formation of collaborative efforts.
Please let us know if you have an area of interest for future projects. We are looking to promote municipal and county projects of any size. No project is too small. If you have a project to add, please click here.

Governor Bentley Signs Executive Order 16
On May 31, 2011 Governor Bentley signed Executive Order 16 to reestablish the Alabama GIS Executive Council, the Alabama Geographic Information Advisory Committee and create the Alabama Geographic Information Program Office. Read the Executive Order as amended in September 2011.
