The NASA-Ames Research Center Grants Office is responsible for the award and administration of grants and cooperative agreements to universities and non-profit organizations in support of the Center's research and technology development missions.
NASA solicits proposals for grants and cooperative agreements through various types of Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), including NASA Research Announcements (NRAs), Cooperative Agreement Notices (CANs), and Announcements of Opportunity (AOs). It is NASA's policy to use competitive procedures to award grants whenever possible.
As of October 1, 2006, new awards will be processed by the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC)
