Welcome to the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services' Indicator-Based Information System for Public Health (AK-IBIS). This site provides statistical numerical data as well as contextual information on the health status of Alaskans and the state of Alaska's health care system.

Another great data resource is the Informed Alaskans Health Maps website.

Getting Started

Use the four tabs at the top of the page to navigate the main content on this site. Each main navigation section will have a link to an introduction page, a "Content and Usage" page that describes that section's content in more detail, and an index page that contains all that section's data selections.
