College Employment Office

The students in this program will be doing research at the NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory under the sponsorship of a Faculty Sponsor at your college who will serve at the PI/PD for this labor subcontract. Supervision of the student will be through a JPL mentor named in the subcontract. Students are JPL Affiliates, but officially employees of the college or university participating in this program

The hourly rate is set by JPL and is necessarily uniform for all colleges participating in this program

Timesheets are initialed by the JPL mentor and are typically submitted to the Faculty Sponsor for submission to the Payroll Office
