Taxbill:
Below are current and previous year tax bills. The first 4 digits indicate the year. Click on the tax bill number to view the bill.
When using this system you will need to make sure the Taxbill you enter is correct before you
actually make a payment. Verify the name and address as you proceed through the system. Records
maybe searched via Assessor Number, Name, or Address. The assessor number, which is displayed
on your taxbill, is the simplest search. Once you have selected a record to look at, you may
use the 'Unpaid Taxes' tab to see any taxes that have yet to be paid.
The Flathead County Treasurer is not responsible for payments made on the wrong property and
payments so made cannot be refunded. If your mortgage company pays your taxes, do NOT make
your payment online through this system.
As per MCA Title 7, Chapter 5, Flathead County holds the right to charge a convenience fee for all
transactions on this website. There will be no fee charged should you elect to pay online via
an electronic check (eCheck). For credit card payments, the current rate is 3% and will be
included automatically as part of your online payment process. NOTE: Transactions may take up
to 36 hours to appear on our online system when viewing records.
PLEASE NOTE: Any online tax payment made after 5:00 pm (Mountain Standard Time Zone) will be
posted to the following business day. If this causes the payment to be delinquent, then penalty and
interest will be imposed. Current penalty fee is 2 percent. Interest is 5/6 of 1 percent per month
(annual rate of 10%).
Your transaction is made using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). All data submitted uses a 128-bit
encryption. If you are concerned with making an online transaction, please pay your taxes in
person or by mail. If you have any questions, please contact the Treasurer's office at 406-758-5680.
It is recommended that you print this screen for your records.
